Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum is celebrating America's 250th with History Expo 2026, a special day-long celebration of history, on Saturday, May 23, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is FREE and includes:
-A showcase of more than 20 historical societies, house museums, and history organizations from the Lehigh Valley (including Passport to History partners!)
- Tours of historic Trout Hall mansion
- A new exhibit from the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History titled "Declaration 1776: The Big Bang of Modern Democracy."
- The Brandywine Colonials Fife and Drum Corps from Topton, Pennsylvania
- Car exhibit on the grounds will feature award-winning cars from the collection of Mr. Ron Smith, including a 1914 Model T Ford Touring Car
- Meet PIP the Colonial Mouse, Actor Jon Provost, who played Timmy on the Lassie show, and author Laurie Jacobson, for a talk about the Beatles' historic concert at Shea Stadium.
- The Allentown Band's outdoor concert
- First 500 children receive a free commemorative coin set
