This Saturday, October 24 marks this fall's annual prescription drug take back day. Brown County has four different drug take back locations listed below!
Common questions:
Can I bring sharps/needles? - No, we do not take sharps/unmedicated needles. Please put these in a puncture proof container and dispose of.
Do I need to take my name off the label? - Up to you. No information gets looked at or recorded. The drugs are taken to be incinerated including your name/information.
Do I need to take the pills out of the container? - Not necessary. Some put them in a plastic Ziploc, but once they go in, for safety reasons, our officers do not touch them.
