One of the things I bring to the table is my professional background - by training and practice I am a civil and environmental engineer and project manager. I know what it's like to work on a project for ages while stakeholders and regulators are engaged. I understand the importance of clean air and water, safe roads, and a robust infrastructure. I'm focused on the long-term impacts of our actions and decisions, and I understand how quickly the economy can cause companies to pivot in priorities.

But most importantly, I show up and I don't quit when it gets complicated. I will roll up my sleeves and get into the tough conversations. I will build consensus and try to find a common ground when we have conflict, and I will always be guided by the core values that I share with all of you.

Our community needs someone who will show up tirelessly, day after day. We need someone who will participate to the fullest no matter the activity. I raised my hand for this job because I am confident I am the best person for the role - and I ask for your trust and your vote to achieve it. Early voting is Saturday and Sunday, and Election Day is Tuesday November 4.
