📚 Something exciting is coming to Mercer County this July...

We're inviting readers of all ages to turn your summer reading into something more. Your efforts could help local children strengthen literacy skills and discover a lifelong love of reading.

Mercer County Better Together and libraries county-wide are teaming up for our first-ever "Reading Is a Gift" Readathon! It's a fundraiser that benefits Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a program free to the families enrolled throughout Mercer County.

More details are coming soon, but for now, start building that summer reading list.

We are having a great time with Road Trip USA summer reading program! Pictures you ask? Well, we've been too busy for that! We'll try next time.
We have 18 in our Tuesday group and 4 in our Jr Book Club group. This week we "took a road trip" to the Statue of Liberty, and learned she was a gift from France and is made of copper like the pennies we cleaned in vinegar and salt.
