Wisdom of the Marsh: Modeling Restoration in the Montezuma Wetlands

Saturday, May 9th, 10:00 a.m.

Join us at the New Woodstock Free Library as we welcome author, Clare Howard, and photographer, David Zalaznik, as they present on their book, "Wisdom of the Marsh." The book outlines the exploitation and restoration of the Montezuma wetlands. They will share the healing process of the marsh and highlight bird species returning to the area and the plant life that is beginning to thrive once more. This presentation provides a new understanding of wetlands and promotes renewed ways to interact with them. "Wisdom of the Marsh" offers an optimistic vision of how we can continue to rehabilitate our environment. This event is free and open to the public. To register: Call the New Woodstock Free Library at 315-662-3134.
