I'm after some ideas regarding the flooring in my hallway. The house was built in 1799 with a large extension being added in the 1960s, the hallway includes both old and new house. I hate the current floor so it needs to go. I'm keen on tiles but just don't know what type. We're slowly trying to put back the cottage feel in this home, the carpet on the stairs is new (ish) so it's hard to find something that will look good with a pattern. Iāve been browsing the group, where Iāve found some beautiful handmade tile designs and unique flooring options that might just work for the space. This is what people see as soon as they come through the front door, I'd like to make a statement but nothing too out there or over the top.
I've been following this page for a while and love what has been suggested for others so thought I'd give it a go. Thanks in advance.
