CUNY TV CUNY TV is the City University of New York’s 24-hour television station.

CUNY TV is the City University of New York’s 24-hour television station and is New York’s leading public educational channel. The station reaches 7.3 million broadcast households in the New York metropolitan area through over-the-air channel 25.3 and can also be viewed within the five boroughs of New York City on cable, via Spectrum and Optimum on channel 75; RCN on channel 77; and Verizon FiOS on

channel 30. From its studios located at The CUNY Graduate Center in midtown Manhattan, CUNY TV produces 23 original series, and curates over 100 hours of programming from CUNY Colleges and other partnerships a month. Program formats include magazine and studio shows, documentaries, student and faculty films, faculty lectures, research symposia, artistic performances and more. CUNY TV is the recipient of 35 New York Emmy® Awards and over 100 nominations, as well as other prestigious industry honors including the Telly Awards and Communicator Awards. CUNY TV is overseen by Interim Executive Director Chiqui Cartagena, a 30-year veteran of media, marketing and commercial television production.
