Rabbi Cliff Miller just cataloged a rare book documenting the typography of the Soncino publishing house. One example, from 1485 (in our collection), declares, “for Torah will emerge from Zion and the word of the Lord from Soncino,” not Jerusalem. Where sacred Jewish books are printed, there is Jerusalem! (See the last line below.)
