🦕 Compsognathus

Compsognathus was one of the
smallest dinosaurs ever discovered,
living during the Late Jurassic
period around 150 million years
ago in what is now Europe. It
measured just 1 meter (3 feet)
in length and weighed less than
3 kilograms — roughly the size
of a modern turkey.

Despite its small size,
Compsognathus was a fast and
agile predator, hunting small
lizards and insects through
dense prehistoric forests.
Fossils found in Germany and
France revealed it was one of
the closest relatives to
modern birds ever discovered.

🦕 Triceratops

Triceratops was one of the last
and most recognizable dinosaurs
to roam North America, living
around 68–66 million years ago
during the Late Cretaceous. It
measured up to 9 meters (30 feet)
in length and weighed between
6–12 metric tons, making it one
of the largest horned dinosaurs
ever discovered.

Equipped with three distinctive
horns, a massive bony frill, and
a powerful beak, Triceratops was
well adapted for defending itself
against predators such as
Tyrannosaurus rex while feeding
on low-growing vegetation. Its
fossils are among the most
abundant from the Late Cretaceous,
making it one of the
best-studied dinosaurs in history.
