Please vote for my good friend Patrick Dowdell. Patrick is a retired US Army Captain, West Point Grad, bagpiper with the FDNY Pipes and Drums and would greatly appreciate your vote. Patrick lost his dad, Lt. Kevin Dowdell, on 9/11 while operating at the World Trade Center with Rescue 4.

It is with deep regret that FDNY announces the death of Firefighter Michael R. Davidson. Firefighter Davidson, 37, was assigned to Engine Company 69 and bravely served the Department for 15 years. He was cited for bravery on four separate occasions. Firefighter Davidson was critically injured while fighting a 5-alarm fire in Manhattan. He was transported to Harlem Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Firefighter Davidson is survived by his wife, Eileen, and four children. He is the 1,150th member to make the Supreme Sacrifice while serving our city.

The brothers of Ladder 119 and Ladder 102 getting it done today to save a baby. (In picture) Through flames to make the rescue! Great line placement and fast water by the Engine companies too! It was knocked down and only an All Hands!
