This summer, catch panoramic views of all five boroughs from atop a historic NYC landmark.

Centre 360 is officially open. This new, free public viewing experience takes you inside the cupola of the David N. Dinkins Municipal Building at 1 Centre Street. It’s a new opportunity to look out over New York City from the top of one of the largest government office buildings in the world.

Designated as an individual Landmark in 1966, the Commission cited it as one of the monumental skyscrapers of the early part of the Twentieth Century.

Welcome back, Carroll Street Bridge! Built in 1889, it is one of New York City’s oldest bridges and one of only a few retractile bridges remaining nationwide; the iconic landmark is now open exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists.

June is — a time to celebrate the communities, cultures, and stories that continue to shape New York City and the nation.

Today, we’re highlighting three recently designated NYC landmarks connected to the city’s rich immigrant history:

📍Public School 15 Annex in Brooklyn
📍Lithuanian Alliance Building in Chelsea
📍Church of Saint Mary on the Lower East Side

These sites reflect the history of immigration in New York City and the diverse immigrant communities who have helped define the city. Learn more: https://www.nyc.gov/site/lpc/about/pr2026/lpc-designates-3-buildings-linked-to-nyc-immigration-history.page
