As a committed group of industry experts, we’re connected by a heart to serve and the belief that we all deserve a place to call home. From financial empowerment education and workforce development programs to foreclosure intervention and employer-assisted housing, we work together to overcome the obstacles to homeownership, advocating for households every step of the way.

Our new vision endeavors to ‘unify the field’ of affordable homeownership across New York State by helping lenders, funders, nonprofits, realtors, and policymakers work collaboratively to maximize equitable homeownership opportunities for the underserved.

New Fall Webinar Dates Announced!

The New York Mortgage Coalition will host a series of Homebuyer Education Webinars throughout 2024.

The webinars are a five-part class that will meet virtually on Wednesday nights, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

Join us to find out how close you are to being able to purchase a home, and learn how to manage your money, understand credit, shop for a home and understand different mortgage products!

**Attendance at ALL 5 webinar sessions counts as STEP 1 in the process of obtaining a certificate. STEP 2 is meeting with a housing counselor for one-on-one counseling. If you complete all 5 sessions you will then receive an email from us with a list of our partner housing counseling agencies so that you can choose which one you would like to work with. We will send them confirmation of your attendance and after your counseling is complete, THEY will provide you with a certificate.**
