The Bi-State Coalition was proud to attend and support Detective Raykena Y. Brown at the Women’s History Month celebration, “Her Legacy Shines,” hosted by The Grand Council of Guardians.

Detective Brown’s journey is a true reflection of dedication, integrity, and leadership. From her impactful work in critical counterterrorism assignments to helping protect the World Trade Center, bridges, tunnels, and airports, she continues to exemplify what it means to serve with purpose. Beyond the field, her role as an instructor and mentor has helped shape the next generation of officers, always leading with patience, strength, and compassion.

Her commitment doesn’t stop when the uniform comes off. As an active member of the Bi-State Coalition, she continues to uplift, educate, and inspire those around her—making a lasting impact both within the department and in the community.
