#2. Yes, Article 15(a) protects and includes minority and women businesses in the government contracts process however we have to play a very active role in lobbying our state legislators to extend it to the Year 2023.
#3. The Governors proposal to expand the State's M/WBE law to all "State Funded Entities" including counties, local governments and other entities that receive funding through State appropriation is vital to the success of the program. We need to keep our eye on the ball if we want to score.
