On , our GMHC team stands with LGBTQ+ youth and speaks out against bullying, harassment, and discrimination.

Every young person deserves to grow up feeling safe, supported, and accepted for who they are. That’s especially important as transgender and nonbinary youth continue to face challenges simply for being themselves.

We believe every young person should have the opportunity to find their community, live authentically, and build a future where they can thrive.

Today and every day, we’ve got your back. 💜

Coming out looks different for everyone.
For some, it’s a conversation.
For others, it’s a lifelong journey.
And for many, it happens in different ways, at different times, and on their own terms.
There is no one right way to come out. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

This National Coming Out Day, we’re amplifying some voices of our incredible staff who help foster the wonderful community we have here at GMHC. Here’s what they have to say. 🗣️

Welcome to the first episode of our ✨Mental Health Mindful Moment✨ series with GMHC’s Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Bobby! In this new series, we dedicate a few minutes out of our day to take a mindful moment together through mental health support resources, guided meditations, and more.

In this episode: Get your pumpkin spice ready because we’re breaking down the importance of PSL (Pause. Savor. Let go.) in honor of Mental Health Awareness Week.

Knowing your q***r history means knowing the people and movements that made progress possible – because the ongoing work of building a more just future has always been powered by community.

We wouldn’t be here without the people who organized, protested, demanded lifesaving HIV treatment, challenged stigma, and fought for the right to live openly and with dignity.

This LGBTQ+ History Month, we honor the trailblazers who paved the way and remember those who are no longer with us. Because HIV awareness is LGBTQ+ history. And knowing our history helps us shape what comes next.
