Last night was something special!
Our 2026 Home for Good Fundraising Gala brought together guests, sponsors, city government partners, and community leaders at the Museum of the City of New York for an evening that reminded us why this work matters and what's possible when a community shows up for its neighbors.
To our emcee and keynote speaker, Jay Dow, thank you for holding the room with honesty, warmth, and a spotlight on the New Yorkers whose stories deserve to be heard.
To our Good Neighbor Award honorees, Dr. Helen Arteaga-Landaverde, Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services for the City of New York, and Yarojin Robinson, SVP of Affordable and Mixed-Income Housing at Gilbane Development Company, your commitment to New York City's most vulnerable residents runs deep, and last night we were proud to honor it. Thank you.
To our government partners and elected officials, thank you for being in the room and for the work you do every day to make lasting change possible.
To our Board of Directors, thank you for your steadfast leadership and your belief in this work.
To our community of supporters, near and far, thank you for following, sharing, and standing with CUCS, our staff, and the people we serve.
And to our sponsors, none of this happens without you. Your investment in this work is an investment in New Yorkers who deserve a real shot at stability and a home for good.
Our President & CEO Dawn Pinnock reminded guests that this work is about more than housing. It’s about showing up, building trust, and creating systems of care that help people move toward long-term stability.
If you weren't able to give last night, there's still time to make a difference.
