Grenada leads in areas such as climate change diplomacy, based on its commitment and active participation within United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (

UNFCCC.) Grenada is a leading member state on environmental issues, forestry, maritime, and science and technology. Grenada serves as Vice President of the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly, and actively engages in the standing committees and working groups of the United Nations System.
