Broome Street Academy aims to improve the academic success of the city's most at-risk students, including youth who are homeless, are in foster care, or come from very low-performing middle schools. Broome Street Academy is partnered with and housed at The Door, a well-known youth development organization. This partnership provides a unique model that seamlessly integrates rigorous academics and youth development services all under one roof.

Our seniors showed up and showed out for the Community Project! 💙

Together, they prepared 450+ units of rolled oats and cinnamon, spreading care and intention into every pack. Some students even went the extra mile, creating cinnamon bundles for teachers and family members. 🫶🏽

A special thank you to Ms. Ajero, who led this initiative alongside Student Government through her organization supporting communities in need and distribution efforts. Next, students will select locations to distribute the packaged oatmeal and continue making an impact.

We’re so proud of the dedication, teamwork, and heart our seniors continue to show. This is what BSA is all about. 💫
