We are the New Jersey/New York Indian Council. We are a private, non-profit agency that promotes the social, economic, and cultural well-being of all tribal communities. We are here to meet the needs of today's American Indian Families, and to serve as a center for cultural, historical, and social exchange. Ultimately, we are building a future for our people based on the Indian Nations' history,
traditions, and philosophies. This is the understanding we want to share with all people. Our organization is a private, non-profit organization funded by the Department of Labor as part of the Indian and Native American Workforce Investment Act. Our vision is to provide quality employment and training services to Native American communities that not only meet regulatory requirements, but also administered in ways that are consistent with the traditional cultural beliefs and values of the Native people in our service area. We at the New Jersey/New York Indian Council are dedicated to helping improve the quality of life of our native community.
