Birth centers are a place of power and love. They create a space for pregnant people, particularly Black and Indigenous pregnant people, to give birth with dignity and with joy. The midwives who work in birth centers prioritize safe, culturally competent care – which improves outcomes for both the pregnant person and infants.

People increasingly use AI chatbots for medical advice. While affording or accessing medical care is a challenge, these chatbots are not a trustworthy solution. They often share incorrect information, and they don’t protect your personal health data – which is concerning for anyone, but particularly those who might be seeking information about abortion or gender affirming care and live in a state with bans or restrictions.

What an amazing weekend at the first ever Daisy Chain Fields Festival 🌼! Olivia Rodrigo and her team pulled together a beautiful day full of joy, community, and advocacy. We are so honored to have been included alongside other incredible nonprofits who are all doing inspiring work in support of women and girls.

Joy isn’t just a byproduct of the fight for reproductive freedom — it’s the fuel. Whether it’s a hard fought policy win, the rhythm of a protest song, or the laughter shared between strangers at a festival like Daisy Chains, joy reminds us why we fight. It turns resistance into celebration, and collective action into something we want to return to, again and again. In a world that demands exhaustion as proof of commitment, joy is a radical act of care — for ourselves and each other.

To be a part of this inaugural event will be something we never forget. Thank you, Olivia Rodrigo and The Daisy Chain Fields Festival team for including us in such a historical moment. Let’s do it again next year 🧡
