Cadman Plaza Brooklyn War Memorial is a park in downtown Brooklyn. There is a large wall and building which were dedicated and officially opened in 1951. The building has the names of the 11,000 service members from Brooklyn who were Killed In Action during World War 2. It also has a large auditorium and exhibits on all American wars going back to the Revolution. This building has shamefully been allowed to deteriorate and is now used as a storage for the NYC Department of Parks. The purpose of our page is the get the city to fix up the memorial and open it to the public.
