While this Earth Day we find ourselves amidst a Global Pandemic, there are still lots of ways that we can participate and help make the world a better place for everyone while staying safe at home! Happy Thanksgiving to all, think about what you are grateful for today and also try to acknowledge the people living all around us who do not have a family to celebrate the holidays with. The Chriz's Heart Street Organization is a home and a place for individuals to go during the holiday season who don't have anybody to celebrate with. From homeless individuals to those who struggle with mental illness (which is usually genetic and passed down by family members) these people living at the Chriz's Heart Street home or those just visiting, are grateful to have a family meal with about 100 other people who have experienced the same pain and the same struggles. Check out the article below, this is an example of what Thanksgiving is truly about. Giving back to others! “People want to be seen, and they want to be heard and they want to be loved,” said Mary Chisholm, the founder and executive director of this organization, who goes by Chiz. “That’s it.”

“They want to be loved,” said the founder of Chiz’s Heart Street, a group home where residents cook and celebrate together.

Do you all remember Luna? The beautiful white husky that has been chained outside for 8 years. In extreme heat, snow, rain, and freezing weather Luna is still now allowed inside the house. This is preventable and many foundations have set out on a mission to reduce the amount of su***des in the world. is an amazing example of this that provides help and resources to people in order to prevent su***de. As students head back to school, many children around the world are still lacking the vital early education that has been proven to help them succeed in life. Many philanthropic organizations have provided the educational resources many low income countries around the world lack.
