NYF Advertising Awards Celebrating the World's Best Advertising®. A New York Festivals Competition.

McDelivery® turned Hamburg’s reputation as Germany’s “speed camera capital” into an ingenious Outdoor Grand Award-winning campaign. By strategically placing billboards within the sightlines of speed cameras, McDelivery ads photobombed approximately 140 speeding violation photos, delivering the message at exactly the right moment: skip the drive, skip the fine, get McDonald’s delivered. One ticket went viral on Reddit, generating more than 420,000 views and proving that sometimes the best outdoor ad is the one that follows you home.

Congratulations to Scholz & Friends on taking home the NYFA Outdoor Grand Award!

This year, NYF Health has launched the new category, Human Lens: The Lived Experience, a category that elevates authentic human experiences, honoring work that is rooted in authentic patient, caregiver, and community experiences. This new category will celebrate storytelling that gives voice to real lives, challenges stereotypes, and fosters empathy, understanding, and connection.

In order to give this new category and the work entered additional care and attention, we have invited our co-creators, whom we worked closely with from inception to launch, to lead as the Co-Chairs of a Specialty Jury who together will review the entries from Shortlist to final judging.

Anna and Jordan Rathkopf, Co-Founders of Rathkopf, a patient-and caregiver-led strategy and storytelling studio, will lead the panel’s review of the entries, bringing both their lived experience of cancer and caregiving and their professional expertise to the judging. Their work with creative agencies, pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, and advocacy organizations revealed the need for an award category that recognizes not only authentic representation, but meaningful community involvement throughout the creative process.

Together we see this as an opportunity to recognize a type of work that has been hiding in plain sight for years. What distinguishes this category is not just the subject matter, but the process. NYF Health and our Co-Chairs, the Rathkopfs, are looking for stories made with people, not simply about them.

What’s one thing that you hope completely changes?

For Rich Levy, Chief Creative Officer at Klick Health and Jury Chair of Health & Wellness for the New York Festivals Health Awards, it’s the willingness to take more risks.

Taking a chance on something that’s never been done before can get people to stop, pay attention and engage in a way they haven’t before. And that can lead to huge results.

If health advertising could solve one problem tomorrow, what would you choose?

For Rich Levy, Chief Creative Officer at Klick Health and Jury Chair of the New York Festivals Health Awards, the answer is health equity.

If we could solve health equity and make the health solutions our clients create accessible to everyone, wherever they are, “that would just solve everything.”

If health advertising could solve one problem tomorrow, what would it be?

We asked Jason Graff, Global Chief Creative Officer at VML Health and Executive Jury Chair, Pharma, for the 2026 New York Festivals Health Awards to share his perspective.

His answer: health literacy.
As Jason explains, many of today’s biggest health challenges are not just medical problems, they’re communication problems. By turning complexity into clarity, we can empower people to better understand their health, advocate for themselves, and move us closer to true health equity.

If health advertising could solve one problem tomorrow, what would you choose?

A standout winner at the 2025 New York Festivals Health Awards, SAMY’s Good S**t campaign for PETA proves that challenging conventions can lead to breakthrough creative.

Rather than relying on guilt-driven messaging, the campaign used humor and a relatable human insight to reframe veganism as a personal benefit, making the message more engaging for a broader audience.

The campaign was recognized with:
    •    Silver in Social Media Video
    •    Bronze in Film Commercials
    •    Finalist in Film Technique: Craft, Animation & Visual Effects
Congratulations to SAMY and PETA on this well-deserved recognition.

Last season, this moving campaign from Klick Health won Gold in the Health & Wellness: New York City Award for client Second Nurture, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting adoption and foster care support.

The powerful film 18 Months challenges traditional ideas of what makes a family by celebrating the many ways families are formed, including adoption. Through a moving combination of handcrafted puppetry and 2D shadow animation, the campaign tells a deeply human story that encourages audiences to rethink outdated perceptions and embrace more inclusive definitions of family.

Beyond its creative ex*****on, 18 Months delivered measurable impact. It increased awareness and engagement, sparked meaningful conversations about adoption, helped reduce stigma surrounding non-biological families, and strengthened Second Nurture’s position as a progressive, inclusive organization.
