A Tribute to a Founding Member

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Ed Cobb, one of the founding members of Food Pantry Network of Licking County and a lifelong advocate for others. Ed remained actively involved throughout the years and continued to support our work as a Board Member Emeritus, sharing his wisdom, experience and support.

He played an important role in establishing the foundation of our food bank and the mission we carry forward today. His commitment to helping others reached far beyond our organization. Throughout Licking County, he led initiatives, supported countless causes, and generously gave his time and talents to make our community a better place.

Ed was a person of compassion, vision, and service. His legacy can be seen in every family we serve, every volunteer who gives their time, and every act of kindness that helps ensure no one in our community goes without food.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. We hope they find comfort in knowing that his life of service made a meaningful difference in countless lives, and that his legacy will continue through the work of our organization.

Thank you, Ed, for helping us begin a mission that continues to make a difference. You will be deeply missed, and we are forever grateful for your impact on this community. 🧡

🧡 We kicked off Action Hunger Month with an incredible donation this week! 🧡

The Food Pantry Network of Licking County is grateful to receive 5,747 pounds of ground pork from the Hartford Junior Fair youth livestock auction.

This generous donation was made possible through the support of Englefield Inc. and Duchess Convenience Stores, Heartland Bank, Licking County Farm Bureau, and Intel, who purchased livestock from local 4-H and FFA exhibitors.

This partnership, which began in 2020, brings together our community’s youth, agriculture, businesses, and organizations to help feed our neighbors! Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible! Thank you for making a meaningful difference for families across Licking County!
