Ohio: An Opportunity to Build

There is something significant happening for the Constitution Party in our part of the country this fall.

The Constitution Party National Committee Meeting and Issues Conference will be held November 13–14 in Evansville, Indiana. For those of us in Ohio, that puts a national Constitution Party gathering practically in our neighborhood.

But I believe there is an even greater opportunity between now and November.

Work is underway to bring together people from different parts of Ohio who are interested in developing a properly organized and affiliated Constitution Party in Ohio. We have people participating from several regions of the state, and we are beginning the deliberate work of building the organization, understanding Ohio's ballot-access requirements, and identifying others who may be willing to help.

You don't need to volunteer for an office. You don't need to make a major commitment. And you don't need to have political experience.

You can simply start by joining the conversation.

**A New Chapter for the Constitution Party in Ohio**

Friends of liberty,

This page has recently been entrusted to me after its previous administrator, Terry Bending, moved out of Ohio. My name is Paul Venable, and I serve as Midwest Area Chairman for the Constitution Party.

There are approximately 3,700 people connected to this page. Some may have followed it years ago, some may have become discouraged, and others may simply be waiting to see whether anything serious develops.

Ohio is now showing renewed energy.

Across the state, people are organizing around property rights, taxation, government transparency, constitutional education, local control, data center development, the protection of life, and resistance to the two-party monopoly. Many constitutionally minded Ohioans no longer feel welcome or effective within the major parties.

The Constitution Party offers a principled alternative—but a political party is more than a name, a page, or a candidate acting independently. It requires an organized membership, lawful procedures, accountable leadership, county-level relationships, and a durable foundation.

Ohio is not yet an officially affiliated state party. That is precisely why the work ahead matters.

Our immediate purpose is to reconnect serious people throughout the state, identify those willing to help, and build an orderly organization that Ohio members themselves can govern.

We are especially interested in hearing from people who can assist with:

• County and community outreach
• Constitutional education
• Volunteer coordination
• Communications and social media
• Events and local meetings
• Candidate recruitment
• Administrative and organizational work
• Prayer and encouragement

You do not need political experience. You do need a sincere commitment to constitutional government, individual liberty, responsible citizenship, and the willingness to work constructively with others.
