Licking County Recycling is holding a household hazardous waste collection day on August 29, 2026, from 8am-12pm at the Licking County Highway Garage, 775 East Main St - Newark. See the flyer below for details.

We are excited to be holding our first Household Hazardous Waste collection day in at least 10 years - coming up on August 29, 2026! We know it's a long way off, but if you can hold on to your HHW until then we will be happy to take it. If you need to dispose of any HHW before then, please call us at 740-670-5125 so we can give you some details about the nearest permanent collection facility (in Columbus).
