Thank you to everyone who attended our recent Leadership Development 101 featuring past YLLC Presidents Matt McKenzie, Jocelyn Hartshorn, and Nathan Arnold.

It was inspiring to hear from these three leaders and gain valuable insights from their leadership journeys, professional experiences, and continued involvement in our community. From YLLC members to community leaders, we are incredibly grateful for the impact each of them has made on Licking County and the Young Leaders organization.

We are proud to announce the official creation of the Young Leaders of Licking County Charitable Endowment Fund. This milestone ensures that philanthropy and charitable giving will remain a permanent part of our organization for generations to come.

A special thank-you to the Licking County Foundation for their partnership, and to everyone who helped us raise the funds to make this possible. We are especially grateful to Newark Rotary for coming together to support this effort, along with a generous matching gift from Dan DeLawder and the many other community members who contributed through donations.

We also want to recognize YLLC President Kevin Cox, who set a goal to make this happen and will conclude his presidency later this year, leaving YLLC stronger than he found it. His leadership and vision helped bring this project to life.

Finally, thank you to our incredible YLLC Board of Directors. Their passion for philanthropy, community involvement, and the future of Licking County made this achievement possible.

Community grant applications for our Giving Fund will open later this year, and we are excited to continue supporting local nonprofits through both the YLLC Giving Fund and now the YLLC Charitable Endowment Fund.

The future is bright, and we’re just getting started.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Licking County is hosting a blood drive at DoubleTree by Hilton this Wednesday, and they are in need of more donors! For every unit donated, BBBS receives $10 toward their organization to help support programming. This is a great way to support our community and save lives.
