Joe DiMaggio with actress/wife Dorothy Arnold (center) at the Vittorio Castle Restaurant, July 1939. Standing behind are the Boot’s daughters Rose, Mary, Phyllis, son Ruggiero Jr. "Tony Boy" (Restaurant Manager) and son-in-law Joseph Barile. Jimmy "Peanut' Ceres, Joe D's driver and Richie “the Boot’s” associate, Contractors Mr. Preziosi, Mr. Nesto and longtime friend Primo Caldamare, one unknown person are seated. When Joe D informed Richie that he was going to get engaged to Dorothy, he gave him a 4-carat diamond ring to give her.
