Eagle Academy Newark is a school environment that provides urban young men with structured learning experiences designed to meet their needs as adolescents growing up in urban settings. Our goal is for urban young men to achieve their promise as students, as family members, and as engaged citizens in their communities. Eagle Academy Newark will feature Parent Involvement, Academic Rigor, College P

rep, Extended Day and Saturday programs, Rituals, Summer Bridge, and Mentoring. Eagle Academy Newark will have small classes, trained and committed teachers, and a full list of in-school and out-of-school programs to help students achieve at their highest levels. Our goal is for every student to graduate from high school with the skills needed to succeed in college and in life. The Eagle Academy Foundation, founded in 2005,is a non-profit organization that develops and supports a network of all male, grades 6 through 12, college-preparatory schools in challenged, urban communities. The Foundation raises funds and resources to support programs at each of the schools. Eagle Academy Newark is modeled on the same successful format as three Eagle Academies in New York City, educating more than 1,200 young men each school year. 👟🔥 **Eagle Academy Shoutout!** 🔥👟

Eagle Academy for Young Men of Newark would like to send a **HUGE thank you and shoutout to our valued community partner, Rizz of Rizz Ink**, for selecting several of our young men to model his custom-designed sneakers at the **Newark Board of Education Fashion Show**, hosted by the Newark School of Fashion & Design on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

This experience was about much more than fashion—it was about exposure, mentorship, creativity, entrepreneurship, and providing our scholars with opportunities to shine on a larger stage. Our young men proudly represented Eagle Academy and the Newark Public Schools community while gaining firsthand insight into what it takes to build a successful brand and business.

Rizz, thank you for investing your time, talent, and energy into our scholars. Your willingness to mentor and inspire our young men is a powerful example of what it means to give back to the community. Through your work and your story, our scholars were able to see entrepreneurship in action and learn valuable lessons about passion, perseverance, and purpose.

Our young men had an incredible time, made lasting memories, and were honored to represent their school district at such a prestigious event. Opportunities like these help us continue to build confidence, leadership, and real-world experiences for our scholars.
