Good Afternoon.

The City of Newark Water Department will be upgrading water mains in the Central Avenue area on Wednesday, August 26th. Properties on Woods Avenue, N. 10th Street, Eddy Street and Central Avenue from Hoover to W. Shields Street, as well as, Hoover Street, Selby Street and W. Shields Street from Woods Avenue to Central Avenue may experience fluctuations in water pressure and disruptions to their water service. The work will take place between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Clarification about the upcoming River Road closure:

RIVER ROAD will be CLOSED in two locations in the next two weeks:

• River Road, directly east of Ravine Bluff Drive, Monday, August 10th and Tuesday, August 11th
• River Road, directly west of Redwood Drive, begins Wednesday, August 12th, anticipated duration of 7-10 days

Other Details: Willow Bend subdivision access will be maintained, but from different directions.
