A Community Unity & Legacy Celebration
The Weequahic Park Sports Authority Conservancy extends our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family, loved ones, friends, and community of Wilbur McNeil. We honor his life, his service, and the legacy he leaves behind at Weequahic Park.
Out of respect and in remembrance of Wilbur McNeil, President and Co-Founder of the Weequahic Park Association (WPA), we have discontinued our regular Summer Camp programming for the remainder of this week.

Today, we invite community children, families, elders, and friends of Weequahic Park to come together as we celebrate the legacy of the park and remember those who helped build its history.

🍽️ Community members are welcome to bring food or a dish to share

This is about COMMUNITY • CHILDREN • LEGACY • UNITY.
Although our organizations have separate histories we must show homage to the history created by the elders and recognized their efforts.
