On May 3rd, were honored to join the North Hudson Islamic Center for National Open Mosque Day 2026! It was a beautiful day of welcoming neighbors, answering questions, and fostering deep understanding and connection within our wider community.

A massive thank you to everyone at the North Hudson Islamic Center, the US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), and all the wonderful guests who stopped by to learn, chat, and connect. We’re already looking forward to next year!

CAIR National worked with Rep. Clyburn and Rep. Carson’s offices to circulate a congressional letter opposing the un-American “Shariah-Free American Caucus”. CAIR-NJ worked with the New Jersey House delegation to garner support for it. We appreciate the 6 members who signed on, and hope the remaining Representatives will work to oppose Islamophobia and demonstrate solidarity with their Muslim constituents.

Thank you Representatives Watson-Coleman, Mejia, McIver, Pou, Menendez, and Pallone for their co-signing on this letter. The fight continues.
