of expression. CAIR is committed to protecting the civil rights of all Americans, regardless of faith. CAIR supports domestic policies that promote civil rights, diversity and freedom of religion. CAIR opposes domestic policies that limit civil rights, permit racial, ethnic or religious profiling, infringe on due process, or that prevent Muslims and others from participating fully in American civic life. CAIR is a natural ally of groups, religious or secular, that advocate justice and human rights in America and around the world. CAIR supports foreign policies that help create free and equitable trade, encourage human rights and promote representative government based on socio-economic justice. CAIR believes the active practice of Islam strengthens the social and religious fabric of our nation. CAIR condemns all acts of violence against civilians by any individual, group or state. CAIR advocates dialogue between faith communities both in America and worldwide. CAIR supports equal and complementary rights and responsibilities for men and women.

All-expenses-paid trips sound great, but not when they come from advocacy organizations with a clear agenda.
Educators play an important role in shaping how our children understand the world, including complex and sensitive issues like Israel and Palestine. That’s why CAIR-NJ has filed an ethics complaint against Columbia High School Principal for accepting an all-expenses-paid trip to Israel. This gift jeopardizes his ability to be impartial, and exceeds the limits established by the state ethics commission.
Public school officials should be held to the highest standards of transparency, impartiality, and public trust. We’re calling for a full investigation.
No public school official should be taking propaganda trips to a nation guilty of genocide.

Jersey strong 💪🏽! New Jersey leads the country in number of Muslims elected to public office. This doesn’t happen without decades of civic education and organizing work CAIR and other groups have been doing to get our people involved.

Representation is great. Let’s couple that with real wins for our community.

CAIR-NJ denounces Stockton University’s decision to pull Professor Raz Segal’s director’s message from the Holocaust and Genocide Studies master’s program website. The message, which recounted details of the Myanmar and Israeli genocides, prompted a letter from a prominent donor. Financial interests should never compromise academic freedom or integrity.
