Public Notice: Just a reminder that the 2026 Summer tax bills are due and payable on, or before, August 31st to avoid any late fees. There is a drop box at the double door entrance off of the parking lot to drop your tax payment off. We do not accept post marks so mailing them this late in the week means your tax bill payment may or may not get here on time. Office hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm if you want to walk them in. If you want to know if your taxes are already paid, please feel free to call the Treasurer's office at 231.652.1657 x *222 #. Thank you!

The City of Newaygo’s Department of Public Works is looking to fill a position. This person should have a CDL Class A or B license or be able to obtain one within 90 days and also be able to pass a drug test and background check. The City is looking for someone who is self-motivated and willing to achieve water and sewer licenses. This position requires daily physical activity, some weekends and possible over time.
