Please follow all suggestions by the DHD10 and recreate responsibly.

Remember, any camper or guest with a permit for Sandy Beach can visit Diamond Lake or Ed Henning for water access.

Sandy Beach 2027 Seasonal Site Lottery Tickets

Lottery packets for the 2027 Sandy Beach Seasonal Site Lottery are now available for purchase at the Sandy Beach Park Office.

Cost: $20.00 per packet (non-refundable; does not apply toward the site fee)

Deadline to Purchase: August 14, 2025, by 5:00 PM

To Purchase a Lottery Packet, You Must Bring:

Your valid driver’s license

Your trailer registration
The name and address on both documents must match.

🚨We’re hiring a few PA’s to help finish out the season! 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼
Park Attendants are what keep parks operating day-to-day.
Their primary daily duties include: checking in customers, selling passes, cleaning rental cabins and restrooms, litter collection, checking campsites, and speaking to guests.

The Fremont Area Community Foundation wants you to enjoy our beautiful parks.
Just have the driver show ID with a Newaygo County address and your entry for the day is free!
*this pass is not valid for camping, day-use visitors only.

Are you looking to explore and spend time outdoors this summer? If so, our June gift to the community is for you! Starting June 20, the first 250 Newaygo County residents who purchase a motor vehicle permit at any Newaygo County park location will get their day use pass for free. Each park will have a limited supply of free passes at the park entrance. Find a list of all our county parks at newaygocountymi.gov/departments/parks/parks-recreation/.
