Last week our 3rd grade students read “A Pudding Like a Night on the Sea” from The Stories Julian Tells.

In the chapter, Julian and his younger brother, Huey, cannot resist tasting the delicious lemon pudding their father made for their mother—and they soon learn an important lesson about fixing their mistakes!

To wrap up the week’s reading lessons, classes made lemon pudding to enjoy. It was a sweet ending to a great week of learning! 🍋📚💛

Student Leadership started out STRONG today after our first official meeting!

Some of our Leadership students got right to work serving our school by delivering Food Truck Friday orders to our teachers! 🥔🍴

We finished the day by giving back to our community! Our students collected the food from our school donation box and delivered it to a local Blessing Box to help those in need. ❤️

What a way to kick off the year—leadership, service, and giving back! We can’t wait to see all the exciting things this group accomplishes this year! 🧡🤍
