Newbern City Library Established in 1969, the Newbern City Library exists to provide the residents with an excellent educational and recreational experience.

Services extend to both children and adults. Resources are available to the public in-person and online.

Today, one of our big kids shared a special story with our tots by reading The Bookstore Cat by Cylin Busby. After storytime, everyone had fun creating adorable cat crafts to take home and enjoyed a delicious snack together. It was a purr-fect day at the library!

LeRoy Branch, thank you so much for sending Flat Stanley and Flat Stella to visit our library! They had a wonderful time during their stay and enjoyed exploring all that our library has to offer.

Their adventure isn't over yet. They still have a long journey ahead before they make it back to Kansas. We hope they have safe travels and many more exciting experiences along the way.
