We’re waiting on our grant writers as the deadline dates have changed for these specific Grants, so we’re not having to rush our meetings.

The Newberry Community Services District will be holding a Committee Meeting on April 8th, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the CSD Building located at 30884 Newberry Road, Newberry Springs, CA.

This meeting will focus on discussing future plans and potential development of the property recently acquired by the District. The public is invited to attend, Participate in, and stay informed on the vision and direction of this project.

Community involvement is important to us, and we encourage residents to come learn more about how this property may serve the future needs of Newberry Springs.

Effective November 1st we are pleased to announce that the burn ban has been officially lifted. Thank you to all our residents for your patience and cooperation during this time. Please remember to always follow fire safety guidelines to help keep our community safe.

Please remember to always have your burn permit readily available when burning. If you don’t have a permit yet, you can purchase one for $25 at the Newberry CSD office (30884 Newberry Rd, Newberry Springs) from Wednesday through Friday, 12-4 PM. For questions, you can reach the CSD office at 760-257-3613. Permits are also available at the Newberry Springs Fire Department (33759 Newberry Rd). Please call Chief Lanier beforehand at 760-308-3448.
