Another RED FLAG WARNING has been issued for tomorrow.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.

🔥 Burn Ban Extended for Another Week 🔥 The Alachua County burn ban has been extended for an additional week. While recent rainfall has improved some conditions, the Florida Forest Service reports the Keetch-Byram Drought Index (KBDI) remains at 540, meaning wildfire risk is still elevated.

For this reason, maintaining the burn ban is the safest course of action at this time.

🚫 Unpermitted controlled burns
🚫 Construction or organic debris burning
🚫 Fireworks
