Our hearts are heavy following the tragic line-of-duty death of Columbia Police Officer DeLong and the serious wounding of Officer Dymock.
We extend our deepest condolences to Officer DeLong’s family, loved ones, fellow officers, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him. We also lift Officer Dymock and his family in our thoughts and prayers for strength and healing during this difficult time.
Our deepest sympathies go to Chief Holbrook and the entire Columbia Police Department. Losing one of your own is an unimaginable pain, and we stand with you as you mourn, support one another, and continue to serve your community.
May Officer DeLong’s service, sacrifice, and dedication never be forgotten. May his family find comfort in the love and support of the community he served.
