Way to go!!! Newberry County Ozone All-Stars WIN!!! They defeated Starr-Iva 9-8. Great job team.

The Newberry County Ozone All-Star team will play Batesburg-Leesville tomorrow (6/15) at 4 pm in Saluda. The team will need to win this game to play for the District 3, Division 1 Championship. Let's go!!

CORRECTION: The Ozone All-Star game is at 4 pm today in Saluda.

Yesterday (6/13) was a rough day for Newberry County Minors and Ozone All-Stars. Both teams had a tough loss and unfortunately that brought the District 3 All-Star tournament to an end for the Minors team. However, the Ozone team plays Starr Iva today in Saluda. The game time was moved to 4 pm today (not 2 pm).

These players and coaches put in a lot of time and we are proud of the improvements they have made and the heart they put into the game.

It was a HOT one today and these boys battled through it!

The Newberry County Ozone All-Star team beat Edgefield 7-6 in a nail biter. What a game! Proud of the players for hanging in there to the end.

The Newberry County Minors All-Star team took on Starr-Iva. While the team put up 15 runs, they were out scored and lost their opening game 15-16. This just means they have to claw their way back to the winners bracket, which we know they are capable of doing.

Both teams will play in Saluda again tomorrow. Ozone at 12:30 pm and Minors at 10 am. Bring your tent and battery operated fan and come see these teams compete at the District 3 All-Star Tournament.

The Newberry County Minors and Ozone All-Star teams play tomorrow in Saluda in the District 3, Division 1 All-Star Tournament. Come support these teams! These players and coaches have worked hard and we wish them the best of luck!

The Ozone All-Star game begins at 2:30 pm against Edgefield.

The Minors All-Star game begins at 3 pm against Starr-Iva.

The field address is 4454 Batesburg Hwy, Saluda, SC. Admission is $10 per person (children 5 & under are free). Cash only.

UMPIRES NEEDED!

Newberry County Baseball and Softball are in need of umpires, especially for the spring season. However, the best time to practice will be in the fall. Games are in the evenings and some Saturdays. If you are interested, please text 803.924.8328.

The Newberry County 8U Coaches Pitch All-Star team dropped a tough one yesterday to Ninety Six (4-14). That brings the tournament to end for them, but these boys worked hard and played hard. Proud of the heart they showed on and off the field!

This was the first year for Coaches Pitch All-Star participation and these players and coaches, both on the baseball and softball side, did an awesome job and represented Newberry County well. We are excited to see what next year brings!

Wow! What a game the Newberry County 8U All-Star team had tonight! It wasn't the outcome they/we were hoping for, but those boys played a great game. The final score was 15-20 versus Clinton.

Newberry County will take on Ninety Six tomorrow (6/6/26) at 3 pm in Batesburg. Play hard and have fun!

Tomorrow the Newberry County 8U Coaches Pitch Baseball All-Star team takes on Clinton at 7 PM in Batesburg. This is the first year the program has competed in All-Stars at the coaches pitch level. These players have been practicing hard and having fun preparing for the District 3, Division 1 All-Star Tournament.
