Notice of Trustee Vacancy on the Pentland Township Board

Pentland Township is seeking applicants for a vacant Trustee position on the Township Board.

The responsibilities of a Trustee include but are not limited to:
• fiduciary responsibility to manage the affairs of the township
• attend township board meetings
• participate in decisions that are in the best interest of the public.

This appointment will begin on May 1, and expire in November 2028.

The Township Board expects to fill this seat at its meeting on Tuesday, April 14, at 7pm at the Pentland Township Hall.

Letters of interest must be received no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, April 10, 2026, by one of the following methods:

The Pentland Township Board will have its regular meeting for this month on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. This is one day later than usual due to a scheduling conflict.

The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm (as usual) and take place at the Pentland Township Hall, 15474 M-28, Newberry, MI 49868.
