🏹 Message from Coach Shealy – Archery Head Coach

Please be sure to check your child’s backpack, as letters were sent home with each archer who participated in tryouts. For those who made the team, the letter includes their first practice date.

Archery practices will be held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday on the stage, with 8 students practicing each day.

Congratulations to all of our archers, and thank you to everyone who participated in tryouts! 🏹

Mr. Francis’s 8th-grade students wrote about the theme of guilt today after reading “The Tell-Tale Heart.” They asked some great questions and provided thoughtful answers during the discussion. It was great to see their engagement with the text and their willingness to share their ideas!

Aaliyah was nominated by Mrs. Janica Abulencia for being an outstanding student who excels both academically and personally.
Aaliyah demonstrates a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and consistent participation in class. She respectfully asks questions, follows directions, completes her work carefully, and takes pride in her learning. She is also kind, respectful, and considerate of others, always willing to help classmates who may be struggling with Math.

Aaliyah also demonstrates incredible initiative by voluntarily helping her teacher with classroom tasks, such as putting up chairs, without being asked. Her responsibility, perseverance, and willingness to go above and beyond make her a wonderful role model for her classmates.
