If you are planning to run for office in Berkeley County, the official candidate filing period opens today at NOON (March 16) and will remain open until NOON on March 30, 2026.

Candidates seeking a party nomination must file during this period with the appropriate election authority.

✅ RESOLUTION PASSED

The Berkeley County Republican Party has officially passed a resolution supporting H.4717 to redraw South Carolina’s Sixth Congressional District — and it passed with more than 90% support from our Executive Committee.

For decades, Jim Clyburn has treated the 6th District like a personal political fiefdom, shielding himself from accountability while failing to represent the values of the vast majority of South Carolinians.

58% of our state voted for President Trump and the America First agenda — yet thousands of conservative voices are effectively locked out of representation.

That ends now.

South Carolina deserves competitive districts and leaders who will fight for secure borders, a strong economy, American energy, and our conservative values.

It’s time to send reinforcements to Washington.
