🎃❤️ It's More Than Decorations… It's About Making Memories and Creating Traditions! ❤️🎄

One of the greatest joys of being part of Newberry Main Street is looking out our shop windows and watching families make memories right here in Barry Park in Historic Downtown Newberry.

We see little ones posing for pictures, parents smiling, and families returning year after year to capture those special moments. It's a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do! ❤️

This particular family has been keeping their tradition alive for 21 YEARS! 🥹❤️ Whether it's a fall photo with our giant pumpkin 🎃 or a Christmas picture at the gingerbread house in our Gingerbread Village 🍬🏠, they've made downtown Newberry part of their family's story!

That's what small-town traditions are all about. It's not just a pumpkin or a gingerbread house. It's watching children grow up, families grow bigger, and memories being made in the very same special places year after year.

🎃 We also want to give a BIG THANK YOU to the City of Newberry - Government for giving our beloved giant pumpkin a much-needed facelift this year! It's looking wonderful and ready for many more family photos and treasured memories!

At Newberry Main Street, we put our hearts into creating places and experiences that bring our community together. Seeing families enjoy them makes every bit of effort worthwhile.

❤️ Because someday, the decorations may change, but the memories and traditions will last a lifetime.

We'd love to know — does your family have a favorite photo tradition in Downtown Newberry? Share your pictures with us! 📸

🎨 Exciting Things Are Happening at Newberry Firehouse Art Gallery!

We are so proud of the wonderful things happening at Firehouse Gallery, a part of Newberry Main Street Organization, right here in the heart of Historic Downtown Newberry!

Our new curator, Kim Hickey, has been working hard to bring fresh ideas, creativity, and exciting opportunities to the gallery. Not only is Kim a talented artist herself, but she is generously volunteering her time and talents to give back to the community she cares about. One of the things we're most excited about is her dedication to getting our youth involved in the arts through creative contests and opportunities to showcase their talents! 🎨🖌️

We believe that encouraging creativity in our young people is an investment in the future of our community. Giving children an opportunity to express themselves, build confidence, and discover their artistic talents is something truly special.

Newberry Main Street Organization is incredibly proud of Kim's enthusiasm, dedication, and vision for Firehouse Gallery! Her efforts are helping make the gallery a place where creativity can flourish and artists of all ages feel welcome.

It's exciting to see our Main Street mission come to life through programs that bring our community together, support the arts, and inspire the next generation.

👏 Thank you, Kim, for your hard work and passion for making Firehouse Gallery a special part of our downtown!

❤️ Small Town. Big Heart. Endless Creativity.
