Cops at Culver’s Day today at the Culver’s on Tillie Lake Rd in Jackson. It’s an event that raises money for the Police Lights of Christmas program, which turns the money into gift cards that police can give out to help people in need.

𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠 𝐏𝐃 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

Officer Mike Foeger and his father, Karl, were both critically injured in an explosion in Cedarburg yesterday morning. Both remain hospitalized with serious injuries.

Officer Foeger has served with the Newburg Police Department for over 15 years, including 10 years as the Chief of Police. He is also a nearly 30-year veteran of the Jackson Police Department where he is currently a Lieutenant. Throughout his career, Mike has dedicated his life to serving and protecting others.

The Village of Newburg has gotten reports of multiple groups of solicitors in the village. If any of these groups stops at your residence, ask to see their Village-issued permit. ALL solicitors are required to fill out an application and wait for approval before going door-to-door. If the solicitor does not have a permit, send him/her to Village Hall!
