When entering the cabin, the first thing you notice is the smell of the wood. You will find that Red Cedar Lines the interior gable ends and the wall’s separating the bath from the rest of the cabin! I hand-made, the kitchen cabinets
from a Wild Cherry tree that was sawed down and milled here as well. All the work on this cabin was constructed by me, my Dad and cousin Bill. Only working on it 2 d
ays a week, it took over 16 months to complete. No plans or blueprints were used, just a vision. The Cabin is Located in the Heart of Missouri Ozarks on private grounds… National Forest surrounds this area and borders this property. Little Piney Creek is located just a few minutes from the cabin as well as Mill creek. They are both considered some of the few streams in Missouri that actually has native/ stocked trout in them. Other larger rivers are nearby Big Piney River was rated as a # 1 smallmouth stream in Missouri. Then you have the Gasconade River lots of great float trips and fishing on both Rivers. Canoe and Kayak outfitters are in the area. So go on and plan your outdoor adventure, whether its Hunting, Fishing, Canoing, Hiking or just kicking back and enjoying the solitude of the Great Outdoors! "So come on and stay with us awhile"
