We are excited to invite you to the Republican Party’s 1st Annual Family Picnic on Saturday, June 13, from 3:00–7:00 PM at Friedman Park – West Pavilion! This event is all about family, fellowship, food, and fun — not politics — and we hope you will join us for an afternoon of community and summer celebration.

Please take a moment to complete the signup form so we can get an accurate headcount for catering purposes. We kindly ask everyone planning to attend to respond in advance. We have the dinner covered but are requesting desserts donated. Be sure to bring a lawn chair so you can relax and enjoy the live music throughout the afternoon!

We also encourage everyone to dress patriotically, as prizes will be awarded for the Most Patriotic Adult and Most Patriotic Child.

Good Day Fellow Republicans: I was recently contacted by Main Street United Methodist Church. They are offering a summer feeding program for the children at City Lake to help bridge the gap for those who are accustomed to receiving meals at school. For this upcoming summer they are needing volunteers on a weekly basis to prepare and serve the meals. The Main Street United Methodist Church provides the food and the facilities for preparing the food. They would love to have volunteers to help one day per week. Current openings are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 am to 1 pm. This is a great opportunity to help our community. If you would be able to help in this regard, please contact me.

I just spoke with the Election office to check on early voting numbers. At close of early voting today, 2,343 early votes cast between mail ballots, traveling board, and in-person voting. That number represents 4.8% of the 48,668 registered voters in Warrick County. GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!!!

ELECTION NIGHT WATCH PARTY UPDATE:

Due to scheduling challenges in securing a venue, the Party will not be hosting a separate election night watch party this year.

We are grateful for the invitation from one of our local sheriff candidates to join their previously planned gathering. For those who would like to be out on Election Night, you are welcome to attend and spend time with fellow community members as results come in.

While this is not an official Party event or an endorsement of any candidate, we are glad there is an opportunity for people to come together. We encourage everyone to support and respect all of our candidates as we await the results. Information on the event below:
