Today was a different kind of vacation day—and honestly, this is my kind of vacation! 🩷

I had the opportunity to spend some time with the City of Newburgh Fire Department. Sometimes, leadership is simply about showing up, saying hello, having a conversation, and letting people know you appreciate what they do for our community. 🚒

From there, I visited Newburgh Tool on Chamber Street to learn more about their program, the work they’re doing, and how they are impacting our community. I look forward to continuing that conversation and learning more about the opportunities they provide.

I also had the opportunity to meet up with Bishop Jeffrey C. Woody and get a better understanding of the Farmers Market and the incredible work happening there. He’s doing a great job, and I appreciate his commitment to our community. 🌱

While at the Farmers Market, I spoke with so many great people and organizations. But I especially want to recognize and say that I support RAPP!

Alton, thank you for the great work you’re doing! Your commitment to our community matters, and it’s important that we continue to support organizations that are making a positive difference.
