Long post alert - important jet ski race info!

Don't forget to mark your calendars for this Saturday's jet ski race and fundraiser/ raffles - It's time to get your race gear on and have fun for a cause (and for bragging rights and trophies!)

This year, all proceeds for this race will be split among two causes very close to our hearts:

-Our dear friend Heidi, who you all know as our bright, fun loving dj who kept the energy going for our last few races, is going through a medical struggle and could use all of our support to get through this trying time.

-The family of our beloved marina member Elaine who we lost recently in a tragic accident. You would know her as the life of the docks, always keeping the fun going and keeping the marina family together like glue. We miss her dearly and would like to help give her family as much support as we can to give her a proper send off and show our love.

All race fees will go to these friends in need as well as all money received from raffles and t-shirt sales, so if you can't make it down on Saturday, be sure to buy some raffle tickets in advance for our "dock cart of cheer" or one of the multiple gift cards graciously donated by local restaurants, or grab a commemorative t-shirt.

We hope to see everyone there and are looking forward to making this a fun day and successful fundraiser, but for anyone that can't make it in person and would still like to donate outside of our event, you can do so at the links below:

It is with heavy hearts that we bring you the news that our beloved Steven Kaufman passed away today after a brief illness. He was loved by all who knew him and we can't imagine the waterfront without him. Steven touched thousands of lives throughout his lifetime and we are all lucky to have known him.

In addition to our own loss, we were saddened to say goodbye to John Vargo of Boating on the Hudson today. A great man, friend, and resource to not only Steven and us, but everyone on the Hudson River.

Due to Steven's services taking place, the marina will not be staffed this coming Wednesday.
