The Town of Newburgh Animal Control & Shelter would like to express our deepest sorrow and condolences to the Police Department and the family of Detective Thompson.

We work closely with the Police Department every day, and the loss of such a dedicated officer and valued community servant is deeply felt by our team. Detective Thompson gave so much to this town and we stand with the Police Department in mourning this tremendous loss.
